As a horticulture producer Vegetal i.D. grows all of its green roof plants on site in Batavia, New York. Our entire nursery is devoted to the cultivation of plants specialized for use in green roof systems. For over 20 years, Vegetal i.D. has specialized in the horticulture of green roof plants, and has developed expertise that you can trust. Vegetal i.D. has developed mechanized production of its all-in-one Hydropack® tray and grown its plants under the care of dedicated horticulture experts to create reliable and consistent green roof products.
Vegetal i.D. is a pioneer in the horticulture production field. We first began sedum production at our headquarters in France in 1993 and developed the first pre-grown all-in-one green paver Hydropack. We have specialized in green roof plants for both flat and pitched roof systems as well as living walls ever since.
